Remember with all of our flights, they are VFR only. If it is not VFR we will fly the same location next week. If it is still not VFR (the following week) the flight is scrubbed.

We are going to ILG (New Castle, Delaware) this month. It is 67 NM SW of N51 (Solberg). You can down load more information at http://www.airnav.com/airport/KILG along with approach plates and an airport diagram. You can obtain a taxi-way diagram at the AOPA web site.

It is always a good idea to pick up flight following on your way up and back. You can reach them (New York Approach) on 127.6 or 132.8 or just ask for a hand off from ground or the tower prior to departure. From MJX (Toms River) the approach frequency is 120.25 (Mc Guire) and from MGJ Orange County the approach frequency is 132.75 (New York) The Philadelphia Approach control is on 118.35

This is a Class Delta airport so you will need to contact clearance delivery on 119.95 prior to moving for departure; to obtain a departure clearance.
